July 4th is right around the corner. As you know, July 4, 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of our nation’s Declaration of Independence. River Bend’s annual Independence Day Parade will begin at 10:30 AM on July 4 near Town Hall. However, this year, the parade route will be reversed. The parade will begin on Plantation Drive, then turn right onto Shoreline Drive and then travel to the River Bend Country Club (RBCC), where it will end, and the festivities will begin. Feel free to park at and view the parade from the RBCC property.

Call the RBCC for details about the car show or golf tournament. As you can see, there will be plenty of activities. All of the post-parade activities will be held at the RBCC. Please make plans to come enjoy the parade and the festivities following it at the RBCC.
The event is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend. The parade registration form is available on the town’s web page. We hope to make this year’s parade the largest in the town’s history. We can only make that happen with your support and involvement. Be creative, show your patriotic and hometown spirt and decorate your trailer, RV, boat, tractor, golf cart, etc. in red, white and blue and enter it in the parade.
Another option is for your HOA, civic group, organization, business, car club, etc. to work together to come up with an entry for the parade. Marching groups are also welcome. This year, the parade route is only about ½ mile long. The Town of River Bend thanks the RBCC for collaborating with the town to make this event possible.
