On Saturday, May 23rd, the River Bend Parks & Recreation Advisory Board will be hosting a Yin Yoga class with instructor Mary Wallen. This will be a slow-paced, style of yoga that targets deep connective tissues such as ligaments, joints and fascia, rather than muscles. It involves holding seated or reclined poses for extended periods, typically between two and five minutes to improve flexibility, increase circulation and promote deep relaxation.
